WheelerWatch Wednesday: Mail aus Luxembourg!

9 Feb
Jawohl, Fahrrad Freunden – the WheelerWatchers have been updating their German vocab this evening. Warum, you might wonder… Over the weekend, the Luxemburger Wort launched their first issue of ‘Cyling Luxembourg’ in partnership with LEOPARD TREK and we received our very own copy today! According to the Chefredakteur, the magazine will be published six times a year and provide kritische Kommentare with a focus on cycling in Luxembourg and “die Leoparden”.

Cycling Luxembourg #1

So, what is the WheelerWatch verdict?
Apart from a photoreportage on the team presentation and interviews with the Schleck-brüdern, Cancellara, Wegmann and Monfort (article en Francais!) we think that the attention paid to Davide Cottam, operations manager of the team, is particularly nice to read since the role of the ‘offroad’ staff members often stays underexposed. For example, he mentions “Kameradschaft und Freundschaft” in the team and explains his activities range from being in charge of the painting and caption on the team cars and buses to being partly responsible for the team presentation.

Apart from that, the magazine could have been full of advertising yet priority is given to content. We believe it’s a very cool first issue that nicely presents the new pro-cycling team and its members! We look forward to upcoming news from the South😎.

    Ben blij met jullie toevoeging!
Ik kan helaas geen bookmark aanmaken naar wheelerwatchers.wordpress.com in Firefox.😦 Weten jullie hoe dit komt?

    Groetjes Barbara
